Rubel slides against US dollar at BCSE on February 19

February 19, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.2609 against the US dollar at the February 19 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency fell to 4.4371 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.5492 per 100 Russian rubles but climbed to 3.396 per euro.

Last week (February 10 – 14), the rubel climbed 3.73 percent against the dollar, 3.61 percent against the euro and 4.27 percent against the yuan but lost 2.49 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 1.73 percent against the dollar in January, after losing 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
