February 20, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.2239 against the US dollar at the February 20 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency climbed to 3.35 per euro and 4.3775 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.6527 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (February 10 – 14), the rubel climbed 3.73 percent against the dollar, 3.61 percent against the euro and 4.27 percent against the yuan but lost 2.49 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 1.73 percent against the dollar in January, after losing 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
