Rubel starts week on sour note

March 3, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.2223 against the US dollar at the March 3 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency also dropped to 3.3301 per euro and 4.3578 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.6008 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (February 24 – 28), the rubel climbed 0.12 percent against the dollar, 1 percent against the euro and 0.58 percent against the yuan but lost 1.21 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 8.54 percent against the dollar in the first two months of 2025.
