Rubel rises sharply against US dollar, euro, yuan at BCSE on March 18

March 18, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.0554 against the US dollar at the March 18 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, gaining 1.94 percent.

The Belarusian currency also rose to 3.2913 per euro and 4.2153 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.6788 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (March 10 – 14), the rubel gained 2.02 percent against the dollar, 1.88 percent against the euro and 1.44 percent against the yuan but lost 1.19 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 8.54 percent against the dollar in the first two months of 2025.
