April 16, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.0846 against the US dollar at the April 16 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency also dropped to 3.4786 per euro and 3.662 per 100 Russian rubles but climbed to 4.1863 per 10 Chinese yuan.
Last week (April 7–11), the rubel gained 0.66 percent against the greenback, 0.51 percent against the yuan and 0.54 percent against the Russian ruble, but lost 1.89 percent against the EU currency.
The Belarusian currency gained 10.25 percent against the dollar in the first quarter of 2025.
