Rubel keeps hitting new highs against US dollar at BCSE on April 22
April 22, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.0251 against the US dollar at the April 22 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, comparable to the value recorded on July, 28, 2023 when it stood at 3.0258.
The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.4621 per euro and 3.6692 per 100 Russian rubles but fell to 4.1214 per 10 Chinese yuan.
Last week (April 14–18), the rubel gained 1.6 percent against the greenback and 1.77 percent against the yuan but lost 0.86 percent against the euro and 0.97 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 10.25 percent against the dollar in the first quarter of 2025.
