Belarus’ industrial output growth slows to 1 percent

June 16, Pozirk. Belarus’ industrial production growth slowed down to 1 percent in January–May, the National Statistics Committee (Biełstat) said.
Last year, official statistics reported an 8-percent growth in the same period.
A trend toward acceleration was observed until mid-summer 2024 with a slowdown reported in the second half of that year. Industrial production growth decelerated from 7.1 percent in January-August 2024 to 1.4 percent in January-April 2025.
