Łukašenka seeks face-to-face meeting with Putin
July 28, Pozirk. Alaksandar Łukašenka seeks a face-to-face meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Belarusian ruler’s spokeswoman, Natalla Ejsmant, has told TASS.
According to her, the two leaders “will discuss all the most important and serious issues.”
Łukašenka and Putin last met on June 27 at the Eurasian Economic Union summit in Minsk. However, they did not hold one-on-one talks at the time.
On June 21, the Belarusian leader had a meeting with Keith Kellogg, the US special envoy for Ukraine. John Coale, a deputy special envoy who took part in that meeting, told Politico that Łukašenka seemed interested in being included in negotiations regarding the war in Ukraine.
