Russian troops, equipment arrive in Belarus for Zapad 2025 exercise

August 6, Pozirk. The first train has delivered Russian troops and military equipment to Belarus for the large-scale joint exercise Zapad 2025 scheduled for September.
The Belarusian defense ministry said that the Belarusian and Russian troops are at the final stage of preparations for the drills.
Minsk clamed that it scaled down the exercise to reduce international tension, but would not specify the number of troops involved.
