Rubel keeps rising against US dollar, euro at summer’s last trading

August 29, Pozirk. The rubel strengthened to 2.9731 against the US dollar at the August 29 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.4575 per euro but dropped to 4.162 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.6933 per 100 Russian rubles.

In the outgoing week (August 25 – 29), the rubel gained 0.2 percent against the dollar and 0.01 percent against the Russian ruble but lost 0.21 percent against the euro and 0.86 percent against the yuan.

The Belarusian currency gained 12.97 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2025.
