December 27, Pozirk. A 53-year-old Belarusian woman was killed and at least 10 people were hospitalized when a passenger bus traveling from Brest to Moscow crashed early this morning in the Viciebsk region, the interior ministry said.
The accident occurred at about 2.40 am in the Tałačyn district. The 43-year-old driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which veered into a ditch and overturned.
Five Russian nationals were injured and are now receiving treatment in a hospital in Orša, the Russian embassy in Belarus said.
