Rubel drops against US dollar, yuan at year’s first trading

January 5, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 2.9444 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
The Belarusian currency also dropped to 4.2004 per 10 yuan but climbed to 3.6725 per 100 Russian rubles.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency since December 19 and remained at 3.465 against the euro.
The Belarusian currency gained 16.43 percent against the dollar in 2025.
