Weather services warn of ice and fog, Minsk public transit affected

February 13, Pozirk. The Biełhidramiet weather service has issued an orange-level alert across Belarus for the coming days, citing fog and limited visibility.

Tomorrow, icy conditions are expected on roads in all regions.

The Minsktrans public bus and trolleybus operator reported disruptions in electric transport services, citing electric network malfunctions. Spokeswoman Alena Hramyka said adverse weather conditions, rising air temperatures, precipitation and salt fog caused power system malfunctions.

Yesterday, 58 such incidents occurred, resulting in trolleybus service disruptions in the city.
