Rubel drops to five-month low against US dollar as BCSE

March 19, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.0184 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE), hitting a low comparable to the value recorded on October 6, 2025, when it stood at 3.039.
The Belarusian currency also dropped to 3.4628 per euro and 4.4508 per 10 yuan, but climbed to 3.6056 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (March 9-13), the rubel fell 0.25 percent against the US dollar and 0.81 percent against the yuan, but rose 0.86 percent against the euro and 0.69 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 1.74 percent against the dollar in the first two months of 2026.
