April 24, Pozirk. Belarusians’ nominal average monthly pay before taxes amounted to 2,975.8 rubels ($1,061 at the exchange rate on April 23) in March, rising by 8.5 percent from the January level, according to Pozirk’s analysis of the National Statistics Committee’s (Biełstat) data.
Last year, nominal average pay rose steadily from February to July, fell in August and September, grew slightly in October, declined by 2 percent in November and rose by 15 percent in December. In January 2026, it fell by 11.4 percent.
