BySol raises over €35,000 in donations for recently freed dissidents

September 18, Pozirk. The BySol Solidarity Foundation has collected more than €35,000 in less than two days as part of an emergency fundraiser launched after the release of 25 designated political prisoners liberated in Minsk’s deal with Washington two days ago.

The target amount of €25,000 was reached in less than six hours. The fundraiser will remain active until October 16.

The Country for Life Foundation’s appeal for €10,000 in donations for shelter accommodation in Vilnius for recently freed people has raised €4,072 out of the requested €10,000 so far.

On September 16, 25 Belarusian regime critics were taken to Lithuania following talks between Alaksandar Łukašenka and John Coale, US special envoy for Belarus, in exchange for Washington lifting sanctions against Biełlesbumpram and Łakafarba, Belarusian producers of wood products and paints, respectively.
