August 21, BPN. The rubel has depreciated to 3.1495 against the US dollar at the August 21 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It also fell to 4.2934 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.3454 per 100 Russian rubles.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.48 against the euro.
Last week (August 14 – 18), the rubel rose 2.32 percent against the greenback and 1.25 percent against the yuan but fell 0.81 percent against the euro and 2.55 percent against the Russian currency.
The Belarusian currency lost 10.58 percent of its value against the dollar from January to July.
