Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,132

February 5, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 8,231 (new daily record) from 760,845 on Friday to 769,076 on Saturday, with the death toll rising by 16 from 6,116 to 6,132, according to the country’s health ministry.

The ministry said that a total of 757,436 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 1,248 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.

As many as 11,909,629 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Friday, with 38,828 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

As of February 4, as many as 5,413,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 4,586,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
