Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,147

February 6, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 8,315 (new daily record) from 769,076 on Saturday to 777,391 on Sunday, with the death toll rising by 15 from 6,132 to 6,147, according to the country’s health ministry.

The ministry said that a total of 765,467 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 1,477 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.

As many as 11,945,183 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Saturday, with 35,554 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

As of February 4, as many as 5,413,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 4,586,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
