Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,480
February 28, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 2,268 from 917,468 on Sunday to 919,736 on Monday, with the death toll rising by 10 from 6,470 to 6,480, according to the country’s health ministry.
The ministry said that a total of 908,132 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 393 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.
As many as 12,438,809 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Sunday, with 11,039 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.
As of February 23, as many as 5,612,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 4,951,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
