Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,566
March 6, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 1,662 from 929,340 on Saturday to 931,002 on Sunday, with the death toll rising by 16 from 6,550 to 6,566, according to the country’s health ministry.
The ministry said that a total of 923,241 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 1,377 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.
As many as 12,550,827 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Saturday, with 20,032 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.
As of March 6, as many as 5,707,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 5,123,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
