Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,594
March 8, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 742 from 932,207 on Monday to 932,949 on Tuesday, with the death toll rising by 15 from 6,579 to 6,594, according to the country’s health ministry.
The ministry said that a total of 925,111 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 227 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.
As many as 12,564,070 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Monday, with 4,118 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.
As of March 6, as many as 5,707,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 5,123,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
