Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,618
March 10, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 1,497 from 934,187 on Wednesday to 935,684 on Thursday, with the death toll rising by 10 from 6,608 to 6,618, according to the country’s health ministry.
The ministry said that a total of 928,536 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 298 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.
As many as 12,582,380 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Wednesday, with 5,049 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.
As of March 9, as many as 5,725,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 5,150,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
