Two Mazyr residents suspected of planning to destroy Russian military equipment in Belarus

March 10, BPN. Two Mazyr residents (Homiel’ region), aged 34 and 44, are suspected of committing a “crime against public safety,” according to the press service of the Investigative Committee.

A criminal case was opened over preparation of an act of terrorism.

The two men are said to have “planned to destroy military equipment of the Russian Federation on its way through the territory of Mazyr district.” The investigation reports that for that purpose they “prepared bottles with explosive substance.”
