Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,661

March 13, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 1,654 from 939,514 on Saturday to 941,168 on Sunday, with the death toll rising by 14 from 6,647 to 6,661, according to the country’s health ministry.

The ministry said that a total of 935,968 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 1,047 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.

As many as 12,636,546 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Saturday, with 15,842 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

As of March 12, as many as 5,763,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 5,212,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
