Major IT news website’s executives arrested

June 24, BPN. Law enforcers have arrested a couple behind IT news portal dev.by.

Vital Andros is the director of the Dev By Media company, and Alena Andros is the company’s chief accountant.

Video footage of the arrest was published by a Telegram account linked to the Belarusian police.

Vital Andros was shown saying that he took part in unauthorized rallies in August 2020, was subscribed to extremist social media and registered with an activist chatbot.

The account called dev.by an “anti-state resource.”
