Content of Symbal.by, Hodna campaign, White Legion declared extremist
August 25, BPN. On August 17, the Partyzansky District Court of Minsk added the following entries to the list of extremist materials on the information ministry’s website:
– Symbal.by store selling Belarusian merchandise, its Telegram channel with 2,952 subscribers and chat with 23 participants, as well as its other social media accounts and messengers.
– Hodna.by, a public campaign promoting Belarusian national identity, its Telegram channel with 2,784 subscribers and chat with 101 participants, as well as its other social media accounts and messengers.
– Bnr100.by, its social media pages and Telegram channel Kamanda BNR100, founded by the organizers of events marking the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the Belarusian National Republic in 2018. The Telegram channel no longer exists.
On August 18, the Maskoŭski District Court of Minsk also blacklisted Telegram channel Bieły Lehijon (White Legion, a Belarusian nationalist organization) with 1,184 subscribers.
