October 25, BPN. Most Ukrainians (85 percent) consider Belarus a hostile country, according to a recent poll by the Kyiv-based Rating Group.
One thousand respondents from all over Ukraine, except for occupied areas of Crimea and Donbas, participated in the phone survey on October 8-9.
More Ukrainians described Belarus as “definitely hostile” – the proportion grew from 52 percent in March to 56 percent in October, while the number of those who consider it “rather hostile,” fell from 32 percent to 29 percent.
Back in April 2021, only four percent of Ukrainians considered Belarus hostile, while in December 2021 their share grew to 16 percent. In March 2022, it climbed to 84 percent.
