Ukrainian military says Belarusian border troops setting up drone operator units
November 9, BPN. Belarusian border troops have started setting up drone operator units, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said in an operational report released at 6 a.m. on November 9.
It noted that Belarus “continues to provide the aggressor” with its territory, airspace, and infrastructure.
Soldiers of the 38th Brest Air Assault Brigade purchased at least 100 individual first-aid kits and equipment for Russian units, it added.
At the same time, Belarusian security forces “intensified measures to search, identify and arrest” people with pro-Ukrainian or anti-war stance, the Ukrainian military command said.
Earlier, Alaksandr Łukašenka admitted that Belarus participated in Russia’s war on Ukraine, but said it was “not killing anyone.”
On October 21, Ukraine called on Belarusians not to follow orders to enter the war against Ukraine to avoid responsibility for war crimes already committed by the Russian army.
