November 21, BPN. Alaksandr Łukašenka has congratulated Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on re-election, the Belarusian leader’s press office says.
Tokayev won the October 20 snap election almost uncontested, gaining 81.31 percent of the vote, media reported.
This victory clearly confirms popular support for the strategic course of effective reforms aimed at modernization and stronger international authority, Łukašenka said.
