Belarus projects $1.2bn budget deficit in 2023

November 29, BPN. The Belarusian government has budgeted a deficit of 3.17 billion rubels (some $1.2 billion) for 2023, according to a bill published on the National Legal Internet Portal. Expenditures are expected to amount to almost 36.5 billion, while revenues are expected to total 33.4 billion. 

The 2022 budget was drawn up with a deficit of 2.84 billion rubels.
