Kaleśnikava moved from intensive care to surgical ward – report
December 1, BPN. Doctors in Mahiloŭ have transferred political prisoner Maryja Kaleśnikava’s from intensive care to a surgical ward, former presidential hopeful Viktar Babaryka’s campaign has said.
“Maryja’s father has managed to find out how she is feeling today – according to doctors, she is getting better,” it said. “Her appetite is normal, Masha had a breakfast of yogurt and porridge. She was visited by a doctor from the colony, who pledged that after discharge from the hospital Maryja will be provided with appropriate conditions and care.”
Doctors have told Kaleśnikava her diagnosis, but keep her father Alaksandr Kaleśnikaŭ in the dark, it added.
Babaryka’s campaign manager Kaleśnikava was brought from prison to the hospital in Homiel this week. She was operated on on November 28.
