Kaleśnikava to stay at hospital until December 5 – report

December 2, BPN. Maryja Kaleśnikava, an imprisoned opposition politician, will stay at a Homiel hospital until December 5, former presidential hopeful Viktar Babaryka’s campaign has said.

“Alaksandr Kaleśnikaŭ, Masha’s father, met with the doctor,” it reported. “The doctor said that Maryja had breakfast and feels fine. They assured the father that the treatment continues in line with a protocol, and that she is provided with everything she needs.” One day earlier, the campaign said she had been transferred from intensive care to a surgical ward.

Babaryka’s campaign manager Kaleśnikava was hospitalized earlier this week. She was operated on on November 28. Unconfirmed reports suggest that she might have been diagnosed with a perforated ulcer.
