Lower house approves Social Security Fund budget
December 7, BPN. The House of Representatives has approved two readings of a bill on the 2023 Social Security Fund’s budget, the National Assembly’s press office reported.
Its revenues are projects at 25.2 billion rubels ($10.2 billion), and expenses, at 24.7 billion (about $10 billion), a 16-percent increase compared to 2022. Pensions make up most of expenses with 18.8 billion rubels or 76.3 percent.
Subsidies from the national budget are expected to amount to 1.9 billion rubels ($767 million).
