President Duda: Poland wants free, independent Belarus as neighbor
December 8, BPN. Poland wants to border a free, sovereign and independent Belarus, where society, our fraternal people, decides its own fate, Polish President Andrzej Duda has said at a meeting with Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja and Belarusians in Warsaw.
“We do not want to have a border with a territory occupied by Russia, where the Russian army, fighting against free and sovereign society, is stationed. We support and will continue to support you in returning your free, sovereign and independent homeland,” Duda said, as quoted by his press office.
