December 14, BPN. Authorities have released former Narodnaja Vola journalist Volha Kłaskoŭskaja after serving her prison time, the Viasna Human Rights Center reported.
She spent two and a half years in prison following for allegedly blocking traffic blocking traffic in Minsk in October 2020 and online comments about a Brest policeman.
Prison authorities reportedly mistreated Kłaskoŭskaja in custody by placing her in a punishment cell and an internal prison on numerous occasions. Human rights groups considered her a political prisoner.
