Rubel up against dollar, yuan at BCSE

December 23, BPN. The Belarusian currency has strengthened against the US dollar to 2.6923 and against the Chinese yuan to 3.8283 per 10 yuan at the December 23 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It has not traded against the European currency and remained at 2.9135 against it.

This week (December 19-23), the rubel plunged by 7.23 percent against the euro, 5.4 percent against the dollar, and 4.65 percent against the yuan. It climbed 2.19 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency depreciated by 4.44 percent against the greenback from January to November.
