KGB adds 20 people to terrorism register, including Vadzim Prakopjeŭ
December 23, BPN. The Belarusian Committee for State Security (KGB) has added 20 people to its register of people involved in terrorism.
Among them are Siarhiej Lisoŭski, Valancin Muzykin, Anatol Michajłaŭ, Jaŭhien Bužynski, Jaŭhien Visłavuch, Alaksandr Kołpak and Aleh Kanavałaŭ, widely regarded as political prisoners.
The KGB also blacklisted a co-founder of the Pahonia volunteer unit fighting Russians in Ukraine, former restaurateur Vadzim Prakopjeŭ, as well as Dzianis Chamicevič and Ihar Čamiakin.
On December 9, the media learned that the KGB opened a special procedure case against the three emigrants over an attack on the home of MP Aleh Hajdukievič, the leader of the pro-government Liberal Democratic Party. The case has already been referred to court.
The 988-entry list includes more than 242 Belarusian nationals.
