Rubel falls against dollar, yuan at BCSE

January 6, BPN. The Belarusian currency fell against the US dollar and yuan at the January 6 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It was trading at 2.7314 rubels per dollar and 3.9923 rubels per yuan. But it rose to 3.8116 against the Russian currency.

The rubel remains at 2.8935 against the euro because the European currency has not traded since January 4.

In the outgoing week (January 3-6), the rubel climbed 0.18 percent against the dollar and 0.47 percent against the euro. It dropped 3.38 percent against the yuan and 0.74 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency plunged by 7.39 percent against the greenback in 2022.
