Campaign to update draft-age Belarusians’ files completed – defense ministry

January 10, BPN. The Belarusian military has completed updating files of draft-age citizens, the defense ministry’s press office reports.

The campaign was carried in line with Alaksandr Łukašenka’s decision since October 2022.

The ministry said citizens demonstrated “an understanding for the measures to strengthen our defense capability” with more than 95 percent of draft-age individuals communicating their details.

This information would be useful in the “emerging military-political situation,” it said.
