Łukašenka approves border protection measures for 2023

January 23, BPN. Alaksandr Łukašenka approved two border-protection orders, one concerning border guards and the other, air patrols, his press office said.

The 2023 efforts will focus on the shared border with Ukraine as well as areas where “new external challenges and threats to border security may arise,” it added.

Border authorities also plan to construct new guard lines equipped with state-of-the-art technology, increase the combat readiness of border troops and improve their skills to identify external threats.
