Northwestern Operational Command drill successfully completed – ministry

March 27, BPN. The Northwestern Operational Command (PZAK) staff training led by Commander of Troops Alaksandr Navumienka ended on March 23, the defense ministry’s press office reported on March 27.

Officers practiced to “plan the use of the operational command’s subordinate troops (forces) as intended, based on an analysis of the results of modern armed conflicts,” he said.

The training’s goal of “raising the coherence between operational command directorates, formations and military units” while planning for a defensive operation has been achieved, he added.

“The training tasks were completed to a high quality. I would like to especially note that all the trainees strived to demonstrate the best possible result,” the commander said.

On March 9, a motorized formation of the Northwestern Operational Command was put on stand-by to be ready “to carry out tasks as intended.”

The defense ministry explained it with combat readiness checks.
