Prominent politician Anatol Labiedźka’s son arrested
March 28, BPN. Law enforcers have arrested Arciom Labiedźka, the son of politician Anatol Labiedźka, advisor on constitutional reform and inter-parliamentary cooperation to opposition leader Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja.
Anatol Labiedźka, who is now abroad, wrote on his Facebook page: “The most disgusting thing is when they start taking your loved ones hostage. My son did not leave Belarus because he wanted to live there. He has been convinced that having me as a father is the only thing he can be accused of!”
“I’m trying to contain my hatred and anger, but it doesn’t work… God give us strength. I love you, son!” Anatol Labiedźka added.
It is unclear if Arciom has been charged.
