April 28, BPN. A total of 13,361 Belarusian nationals were living in Georgia on January 1, the National Statistics Office in Tbilisi said.
Belarusians are the third largest expat community in Georgia, after Russians (62,304) and Ukrainians (20,716).
Georgia has a population of some 3.7 million, the statistics service said.
It has become a popular destination for exiled Belarusians after the 2020 presidential election and the brutal crackdown that followed.
The most popular destination is Poland, researchers say.
