Belarusian envoy discusses transport cooperation with Vietnam

May 11, BPN. Belarusian Ambassador to Vietnam Uładzimir Baravikoŭ discussed cooperation in trade, economy and transportation with Nguyen Van Thang, Vietnam’s transport minister, the foreign ministry’s press office reported.

Vietnam’s authorities did not report on their meeting.

In 2021, trade between Belarus and Vietnam amounted to $200.3 million, with Belarusian exports at $92.9 million and Vietnamese imports at $107.4 million, according to the Belarusian foreign ministry. There is no data for 2022.

Belarus sold potash fertilizers, dairy products, medicine, cosmetics, trucks, tractors, and synthetic yarns, importing tropical fruits, nuts, seafood, tea, coffee, spices, footwear, clothing and equipment from Vietnam.
