May 15, BPN. Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Ihar Petryšenka has discussed trade, economic relations, investment and industrial cooperation with Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov at their meeting in Baku, APA reported.
The sides also reportedly discussed possible mutually beneficial partnerships. No further details are available.
Belarusian authorities are trying to improve relations with Azerbaijan. Alaksandr Łukašenka supported Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev in the armed conflict with Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh despite being allied with Armenia at the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
