Farms make $2.5bn worth of products in first four months

May 16, BPN. Farms in Belarus produced 6.3 billion rubels ($2.5 billion) worth of products in the first four months of 2023, a 3.7 percent increase from the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Committee.

This year’s output included 595,700 tons of livestock and poultry and 2.6 million tons of milk. As of May 1, the country had 4.2 million cattle and 2.3 million pigs.

In 2022, Belarus exported $8.3 billion worth of agricultural products.
