Belarusian rubel up against dollar and yuan

May 25, BPN. The Belarusian rubel gained against the US dollar and the Chinese yuan today at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The rubel traded at 2.9275 per dollar, up 0.08 percent from yesterday, and at 4.1395 per 10 yuan, up 0.33 percent.

The rubel slipped 0.05 percent to 3.668 per 100 Russian rubles.

There was no trading in euros, with EUR/BYN at 3.2.

The rubel fell last week against the dollar, euro and yuan but gained against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost nearly 7 percent of its value against the dollar in the first four months of 2023.
