Rubel up against US dollar, euro, Russian currency

May 26, BPN. The Belarusian rubel has strengthened against the US dollar to 2.9185 at the May 26 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also climbed against the euro to 3.15 and against the Russian currency to 3.6632 per 100 rubles but fell against the Chinese yuan to 4.1424 per 10 yuan.

This week (May 22-26), the rubel strengthened against all major currencies at BCSE, gaining 0.25 percent against the dollar, 1.56 percent against the euro, 0.56 percent against the yuan and 0.12 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 6.91 percent of its value against the dollar in the first four months of 2023.
