Rubel up against all major currencies at BCSE

May 29, BPN. The Belarusian rubel has strengthened against the US dollar to 2.9152 at the May 29 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also climbed against the Russian currency to 3.6585 per 100 rubles and against the Chinese yuan to 4.1305 per 10 yuan.

The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.15 against the euro. 

Last week (May 22-26), the rubel strengthened against all major currencies at BCSE, gaining 0.25 percent against the dollar, 1.56 percent against the euro, 0.56 percent against the yuan and 0.12 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 6.91 percent of its value against the dollar in the first four months of 2023.
